This is a very solid choice for Italian food, especially considering its located in a strip mall.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE! The oil dip for the bread is amazing! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The Caesar salad is the best I've ever had. The pizza and pasta are out of this world. Love the wings too! The cheese cake are homemade, they are the best I've ever had! The service was outstanding! I will definitely choose Ciao Bella over microwaved food from Olive Garden. Would give this more stars if I had the option.

We had the Greek Salad, 10" Supreme Pizza, Gyro, and 12" Ortolana Pizza. The food was amazing and the pizzas were handmade and very delicious. This was a real pleasant surprise. We enjoyed sitting outside and the service was great. I would definitely recommend this place and I'm surprised of its lower ranking by others. We had an excellent server, Dominika T., and she was on top of everything!!

We ate here after shopping at the outlets. Service was great along with our garlic cheese sticks for an appetizer. We had a cheese pizza with light sauce and enjoyed every bite. I'll eat there again.

My husband and I got to experience this little gem tonight and loved it! I had the pizza rustica and my husband had the chicken Parmesan. Lots of food and garlic bread sauce is amazing! Perfect for a small date night :)

I had a late lunch--around 2:30--at Ciao Bella, had heard good things from my brother-in-law. I wasn't expecting much since it's in a strip mall, although a nice one. I was surprised, however. The decor was fine, and the place was busy; people looked happy, which is a good sign. I had Eggplant Parmigiana, breaded and baked with mozzarella cheese and served over a bed of pasta. It was delicious. The spaghetti and sauce were good enough, but the eggplant was tasty, light, and tender -- first class. The bread was extremely tasty, warm and fresh. Dipped in a simple olive oil with herbs, I had to ask for more it was so delicious. The waitress was friendly and brought me more bread for free. Had San Pellegrino sparkling water, which was not the small bottle and was reasonably priced. The entire meal was satisfying, not heavy and not expensive. Highly recommend this place! One of the best restaurants near the Silver Sands Mall.

My pizza was delicious. Very fresh tasting mozzarella, loads of fresh veggies. I ordered to go and my pizza came out quickly. Very impressed, worth the $.

Ordered take out last Saturday. Pizza is exactly as you would expect - not fresh at all and a complete rip off. 3 pizzas and 2 salads for $70. We had friends who ordered from somewhere else and spent $30 less. Needless to say, we will not return next time we are in Destin.

I got the meatball Parmesan sandwich and surprisingly it's really good. The sauce is freshly made and meatballs are not frozen. Everything taste fresh which is important at restaurants!!

Surprisingly good. Had the calamari and a large Margherita pizza. Both very tasty. Friendly, attentive server

My family and I decided to take a 4th of July holiday to Destin FL. We were hungry and being 4th of July everywhere else was full. We soon realized why. We first entered and the ambience was decent. Nice booths and some tables for seating. The restaurant seemed to boast pizzas, sandwiches and pastas. My family and I ordered a pepperoni mushroom and suprema pizza as well as a spaghetti. The wait time for these dishes were well over the capacity of staff and customers there. When the food finally came out, the 14 inch 21 dollar pizzas were not up to par. Very thin and not filling at all. The taste was decent but very bland. Also the spaghetti was less than average. Very bland and similar to a Jason's deli salad bar. The food was so meager that we even ordered 2 more sandwiches. The biggest dissapointment was getting the bill and having seen that they had tacked on a 20% charge for a party of 6. If the food had been anywhere decent I would not have even minded but it was bland tasteless and not filling. Our bill came out to be more than 20 dollars a person. Something outrageous for the quality of food digested. Will not be back. Peace!

The staff was nice, the interior clean, but the pizza was on par with a frozen pizza that I could have made at home.

Absolutely horrible service. They don't deserve 1 star.

Overall, pretty decent place. Ordered a gyro, chicken parm sandwich and a kids spaghetti. Quality was fine for a strip (outlet) mall Italian place.

I'm not the chain pizza type, so when someone left a menu for this place in our vacation rental, I was interested. I mean, it had authentic Italian-sounding terms, so they knew what they were doing, right? Apparently they're just for show. Honestly, I've had better pizza at a gas station. My mom said the cannelloni tasted like Chef Boyardee. What a letdown.

Not at all as good as its sister location in Niceville (see my review), but still quite good, and right in the heart of the famous Silver Sands Outlet Mall: a great place to eat during a "hard" day of shopping.

My wife and my brother and his wife ate here for lunch on September 8th, 2013. The pizza was excellent!. Service was excellent! It was nice to find such a place that does pizza so well that's not a chain restaurant . We ordered the "Ortolana" Pizza which has fresh spinach, artichokes, black olives, feta cheese, sliced tomatoes, shredded mozzarella and tomato sauce. We also ordered the "Supreme" Pizza. Both pizzas arrived in about 15 minutes and all I can say is it doesn't get much better than this folks. The crust was not to thin and just chewy enough to satisfy and on our Supreme pizza the sausage looked to be homemade...it was flat not round like sausage found on most chain pizzas. Needless to say, both our pizzas stood no chance as we quickly devoured every last piece. If out and about around the Outlet Mall shopping or if you just want an authentic Italian style pizza...this place will satisfy. Why not 4 Stars? The place looked like ti could use a little renovations but was clean.

I was not that impressed with the pizza and food. It was busy but the service was good. I wouldn't frequent it but I'd come back.

This is our favorite pizza on the emerald coast. This is true Italian Pizza. We always order the Piccante Pizza and bread with oil. Service is as good as the food.

All in all, not a bad offering. We ordered something called a Bella (a white pizza with tomatoes, mushrooms, basil, and onions), and enjoyed it. The pizza was fresh and crisp. Toppings were plentiful. I saw a calzone that was almost as large as a football. (A very nice family of three shared it.) It was not a busy night, yet service, while very friendly, seemed a little slow. And I'm sorry to say I'm not a fan of the whole strip-mall / factory outlet dining experience. But the food was good. I wouldn't mind having that pizza again, though next time I may go pick it up instead of eating it there.

The family and I walked most of the length of the Silver Sands trying to find a place we could all eat. We passed the "Gelato" place because, despite the word "salad" on their sign, they had no salads I could eat. We picked up a to-go menu at the information kiosk for Ciao Bella and I saw the magic words: Gluten-free pizza and pasta! The pizza was delicious and the family liked their food as well. The place is well-appointed as you would expect for a small Italian restaurant. They lost a star because while the to-go menu says gluten-free pasta, there was nothing listed on the full in-restaurant menu. Overall, we were very pleased.

I have to agree with Mick about the strip mall dining experience, but I did enjoy the Gyro and fries that I ordered.. The portions were decent and the ingredients seemed fresh. It wasn't a huge Chicago gyro dripping with tzatziki, but didn't make a huge mess either.. I felt like the menu prices were just a bit high but it is a resort town and I've been ruined by cheap food in the big city.. Might grab take out next time to avoid the human zoo..

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
